The Unbearable Awesomeness Of Being

Three Thoughts

1) I think that now that we use XML and CSV and stuff, file extensions should be divided in two: one bit for the encoding of the data (XML, CSV etc) and one for the type of the content (RSS, CSS, whatever). Much easier to find what program will read it.

2) I think this new wave of online and multiuser software has created a new step in software development. Beyond Alpha (where the company tests the program) and Beta (where volunteers test the program), there's a new step some companies call Public Beta, but I shall call Gamma (where people pay to test the program). Gamma-testing may last from six months to eternity.

3) I think the Chinese problem of too many males could be easily solved by importing Russian brides.
